This publication is therefore a response to priority project 13. It is a source <strong>of</strong><br />
background <strong>in</strong>formation for all concerned with protected areas <strong>in</strong> the region, present<strong>in</strong>g<br />
a directory <strong>of</strong> people, organisations and places. It is accurate as <strong>of</strong> 31 July 2000.<br />
