SUPPORTING DATA<br />
It is recommended that the Governing Board approve the recommendation for award to the following companies for<br />
the entire 2006-2007 school year.<br />
Relevant Data:<br />
Southwest Mobile Storage for an estimated award of $12,7 10.09 for line items 1, 5 & 6;<br />
Mobile Mini for an estimated award of $36,492.66 for line lterns 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6.<br />
1. The Governing Board approved the Call for Bid on July 26, 2006.<br />
2. Invitation for Bid Notification was sent to twelve (12) vendors.<br />
3. Responses were received from four (4) vendors on August 3 1, 2006. Two (2) of the responses were No Bids.<br />
4. All items were awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder that met specification.<br />
5. Based on the anticipated usage, the District estimates a savings of $32,072.3 L over other bid pricing.<br />
SUMMARY AND RECOhIICIENDATION<br />
It is recommended the Governing Board approve the award of contract for mobile storage units for the 2006-2007<br />
school year to Southwest Mobile Storage and Mobil Mini.<br />
