Under the 2 1" Century Community Learning Centers Grant the District will conduct after school, Saturday day classes<br />

and adult classes at <strong>Dysart</strong> High School, <strong>Dysart</strong> Elementary, El Mirage Elementary and Surprise Elementary schools.<br />

Up to two hundred (200) students and one hundred (100) adults will be served on each campus. A 90 minute block of<br />

academic and enrichment will fill the after school hours of the programs.<br />

A maximum of one (1) coordinator, thirty (30) teachers and fifteen (15) instructional assistants will be hired to staff<br />

the program at each site. One (1) site director will be hired at <strong>Dysart</strong> High School.<br />

SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION<br />

It is recommended the Governing Board approve the 2006 - 2007, 21" Century Community Learning Centers after<br />

school program for students and adults at <strong>Dysart</strong> High School, <strong>Dysart</strong> Elementary, El Mirage Elementary and Surprise<br />

Elementary schools.<br />
