supervising Longfellow Kindergarten Center, a multipurpose building housing
kindergarten, early childhood programs and the alternative learning center for the high
school.

While on military leave served as the Lieutenant Cobnel advising the Commanding
General and providing leadership for policy development and planning for the training of
Army National Guard units and soldiers at Fort Riley, Kansas and at other location where
the 1"' Infantry Division (Mechanized) deployed or Army National Guard units trained.

Served as the senior assistant professor in the Department of Military Science in the
Coilege of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Responsibilities included; supervising and
managing both military and nonmilitary W teaching courses in leadership and methods
of instruction, assisting and counseling departmental students and advis'ig departmental
organizations

Served in various building assignments which included a dual principalship of Sibley and
Washington Schools and principal of Greenvale Park, a 700 student open space school.
Provided leadership for numerous curriculum cormnittees including social studies, science
and language arts. Initiated a process to increase parental involvement with the school
which lead to a new parent organization. Assumed elementary school coordinator
responsibilities providing direction and leadership for three elementary buiidis. Served
as one of two principals on the SMDevelopment Committee which developed the
nationally recognized Northfield Model of Instructional Improvement.
