SUPPORTING DATA<br />

It is recommended that the Governing Board approve the recommendation for award of contract #07-229-031 for pest<br />

control services to Orkin Pest Control.<br />

1. On July 12, 2006 the Governing Board gave approval to issue and release a multi-term Request for Proposal<br />

(UP).<br />

2. The RFP was released on July 13, 2006 to twelve (12) vendors.<br />

3 Invitations were opened on August 4, 2006 and four (4) responses were received. Two (2) of the responses<br />

were "NO BIDS".<br />

4. The District evaluation committee cons~stecl of Ms Jeannette Schurke. Each offer was evaluated per the<br />

evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitat~on documents. The recommendation is based upon that evaluation.<br />

5. This contract period is for five years.<br />

6. Based on the anticipated usage, the District estimates a savlngs of $28,214 for the 2006-2007 school year.<br />
