TITLE: RESPONSIBLE TO: JOB GOALS: JOB QUALIFICATIONS: DYSART UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT #89 JOB DESCRIPTION CHILD CARE AIDE-HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT APPROPRIATE CH1i.D CARE FACILITATOWASST.CHILD CARE FACIL,ITrZTOR To assist in pro\.~d~ng a ~vell organized, smoothly functioning beforelafter school program eriv~ronment in which students can take full advantage of the activities and available resource materials. 1. Junior or senior student in Dysart Unified Schoot District.. 2. Experience in worlung with school age ch~ldren preferred. 3. Acceptable score on a reading, math and writmg Inventory. 4. Must obtain fingerprinting, background check, and Mantoux TB Skin Test, and 4 references (2 business, 2 personal) 5. Bilingual preferred, but not required. 6. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable, PEWORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assist in supervision of children at a Dtstr~ct Child Chre Program. 2. Assist with daily operation of the program to continue meeting Ilcensing, fire, and sanitation requirements. 3. Maintain a clean and neat program environment. 4. Use appropriate language with both children and parents. 5. Provide adequate supervision both inside and outside. 6. Practice appropriate discipline techniques with children. 7. Maintain a cooperative, flexible attitude accepting constructive criticism. 8. Maintain a professional manner inciuding confidentlatity and appropriate communication with all parties (staff, students and community). 9. Provide good example for students with appropriate dress, grooming and cleanliness. 10. Arrive organized and prepared adequately for each day's activities. 1 1.
