Administration is recommending the appointment of Dr. Jon Bradley Johnson, Ed.D. for the position of Assistant
Principal at Luke Elementary School.
Dr. Johnson has twenty-nine (29) years of experience as a Principal/District Curriculum Director~Elementary School
Coordinator for the Minneapolis Public Schools, St. Louis Park Public Schools and Northfield Public Schools in
Minnesota. Dr. Johnson also has as one (1) year of experience as an Elementary TeacherIAssistant Principal for the
Wayzata Public Schools and four (4) years as an Elementary Teacher for the Litchfield Public Schools in Minnesota.
Dr. Johnson has a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University. Dr. Johnson's
resume is attached for review.
Dr. Johnson will be paid an annual salary of $82,591.43 (Step 10 for Elementary Assistant Principals on the
Administrative Hiring Schedule). The annual salary will be prorated to his start date for the 2006-2007 school year.
SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Governing Board approve the appointment of Dr. Jon Bradley Johnson as Assistant Principal
for Luke Elementary School for the 2006-2007 school year.
