Question 41 asked the respondents if they believed that makers of computing<br />

operating systems have a good understanding of what people with disabilities need to<br />

access computers. The result for this question confirmed that a majority of<br />

respondents did not believe that the makers of operating systems have a good<br />

understanding of what people with disabilities need from technology. As<br />

demonstrated in Figure 7.42, 121 or nearly 33% of respondents disagreed that<br />

makers of operating systems have a good understanding and a further 72 or 19.5%<br />

strongly disagreed meaning that over 53% disagreed with this question. There were<br />

92 respondents who agreed and a further 13 who strongly agreed with 71 who<br />

perceived this question not to be applicable.<br />
