APPENDIX 1.5
BRIDGE – ELECTRONIC PLOTTER SYSTEM (TMQ C PLOT)
The electronic chart plotting system is a Hydrographic approved charting system with chart
corrections loaded monthly.
The electronic chart system is also interfaced with the following bridge equipment:
• ARPA Radar
• Furuno GPS
• Gyro compass
• Sea Temperature sensor
• AIS
Note: This system has no track control system interfaced with the auto pilot.
STARTING TMQ C PLOT
1. The computer fwd of the steering console must be turned on followed by the screen
next to the steering console.
2. Once start up has completed then using the mouse click on the TMQ C Plot icon.
3. Follow the loading prompts until software is operational.
4. Ensure GPS system is on and functioning correctly.
