Slope ranges from 0 to 12 percent and most areas are cultivated producing crops such as corn, small grain, and alfalfa. Areas of native vegetation consisting of big bluestem, little bluestem, Indiangrass, switchgrass, as well as other grasses of the tall grass prairie remain in isolated locations. 153
