Classification: Fine-silty, mixed, superactive, mesic Typic Hapludolls<br />

Drainage class: Well drained<br />

Associated soils: Exira silty clay loam (sideslopes) Judson silty clay loam (foot slope)<br />

Sand content: less than 10 percent<br />

Silt content: coarse silt to fine ratio is approximately 1.2 to 1.4 to 1 in the B horizon.<br />

Clay content: 27 to 35 percent in the B horizon<br />
