MOSAIQ Dosimetrist/Physicist Training Guide Module III Copyright 2009, IMPAC Medical Systems 80 LTGRAD0005C/1.0/31-Mar-2009 Lesson 10 eCHART Chart Check Objectives You will learn how to: • Open and review the eCHART Chart Check • Review eCHART Chart Check notes The eCHART Chart Check feature reports changes made to your electronic charts since the last chart check. This supports your weekly chart reviews. IMPAC recommends that you automatically save the results of each Chart Check as a patient note. You can configure this setting in Department Setup. You can also automatically capture your weekly physics charge codes and print reports for each chart checked. In this lesson, you will open and review the eCHART Chart Check, and review eCHART patient notes. The eCHART Chart Check only reviews chart activity. Use the quality checklist feature as a task reminder system. To use eCHART Chart Check, you must have Clinical | Dosimetry Gen | View and Modify security rights. To work with Quality Checklists, you must have Admin | Quality Checklist | View and Modify security rights. To capture charges and print charge reports, you must have Administrative | Code Capture | Modify security rights. To view Diagnoses and Interventions window, you must have Clinical | General | View security rights. To run and print reports, you must have Admin | Administrative | General | View and Modify security rights. To view and add patient/clinical notes and email, you must have Clinical | Notes | View and Modify security rights.
Lesson 10: eCHART Chart Check Copyright 2009, IMPAC Medical Systems 81 LTGRAD0005C/1.0/31-Mar-2009 Notes Reviewing the eCHART Chart Check You must run the eCHART Chart Check to review changes made to the radiation treatment chart over a selected time period. In this exercise, you will run the eCHART Chart Check. 1. Open the chart for your lesson patient, then click eChart | Chart Check…. Opens the Chart Check Options dialog box, shown in Figure 70. Figure 70: Chart Check Options Dialog Box Use the Chart Check Options dialog box to identify whether to charge for the chart check, chart check printing options, and the date from which to check the chart. The Chart Check Options dialog box contains the fields and components below: Patient(s) to Check Current Specifies to check only the currently active patient chart. Tagged Specifies to manually select a batch of patient charts to check. When you click this filter, the Select Patient window opens after you click . This lets you tag the patient charts to check. All Specifies to check all charts for patients with an Active status.
