Major Projects for 2010<br />

Lālāmilo Phase 1, Waimea, Hawai‘i<br />

37-unit project: Work for onsite roads and utilities began in January 2006. This turn<strong>ke</strong>y development<br />

includes two subdivisions of 20 and 17 lots (includes two owner-builder homes); first occupancy<br />

was in June 2009. Nine more turn<strong>ke</strong>y homes to be built.<br />

La‘i ‘ōpua Village 5, Keala<strong>ke</strong>he, Hawai‘i<br />

Construction of the roads and utilities for a 117-lot subdivision on 23.6 acres in Keala<strong>ke</strong>he, north<br />

of Keala<strong>ke</strong>he High School, began May 1, 2009 with completion anticipated in October 2010. A<br />

contract to build the first 45 houses at the site was awarded on November 5, 2009 and house construction<br />

is esti<strong>ma</strong>ted to begin October 2010.<br />

La‘i ‘ōpua Village 4, Keala<strong>ke</strong>he, Hawai‘i<br />

The <strong>ma</strong>ss-grading of a 242-lot subdivision on about 60 acres at Keala<strong>ke</strong>he, located east of Keala<strong>ke</strong>he<br />

High School was completed in December 2009 and a consultant contract to prepare construction<br />

drawings for the road and utility improvements for the subdivision is pending.<br />

A timeline for the construction of the roads and utilities for the project has not yet been determined.<br />

Therefore, a start date for the construction of houses Village 4 will be unknown for some time.<br />
