About Installing a <strong>Control</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> Server<br />
After deciding on the topology to use for your network, you can begin to install your<br />
<strong>Control</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> server. See Server Address Checklist on page A-2 to help you record<br />
relevant information for installation.<br />
You need the following information for the installation:<br />
• Relevant target server address and port information<br />
• <strong>Control</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> Registration Key<br />
• Security Level to use for Server-Agent communication<br />

Creation of 8.3 file names is required for the installation. Enable this function to<br />
