• Migrate logs: AgentMigrateTool.exe copies the logs of the selected<br />

managed products from the source to the destination server<br />

• Enable HTTPS: AgentMigrateTool.exe notifies migrating agents to use<br />

HTTPS to register to <strong>Control</strong> <strong>Manager</strong>. If you do not select this option,<br />

agents use HTTP to register to <strong>Control</strong> <strong>Manager</strong><br />

These options apply to agents listed in the Destination list.<br />

Note<br />

<strong>Trend</strong> <strong>Micro</strong> recommends enabling the Retain tree structure and Migrate logs<br />

options when migrating all agents from the source server.<br />

8. Click Migrate. AgentMigrateTool.exe migrates the agent(s) listed in the<br />

Destination list.<br />

Migrating the <strong>Control</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> Database<br />

To migrate a <strong>Control</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> 5.0/5.5 database, install <strong>Control</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> 6.0 on a<br />

<strong>Control</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> 5.0/5.5 server. This is the recommended method.<br />

The <strong>Control</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> 6.0 setup program automatically upgrades the database to version<br />

6.0.<br />

Migrating a <strong>Control</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> SQL Database to Another<br />

SQL Server<br />

To move a <strong>Control</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> database from an SQL Server to another SQL Server, use<br />

the DBConfig tool to perform the migration.<br />

Using the DBConfig Tool<br />

The DBConfig tool allows users to change the user account, password, and the database<br />

name for the <strong>Control</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> database.
