INTERNATIONAL STUDIES<br />
A major in International Studies seeks to provide the student with a full recognition and understanding<br />
<strong>of</strong> the multitudinous forces which shape the contemporary world—nationalism, wars, political and economic<br />
ideologies, cultural differentials, and modern technology. Such a broad knowledge and understanding <strong>of</strong><br />
world affairs can be utilized in careers in teaching, international business, the legal pr<strong>of</strong>ession, journalism,<br />
