Backing Up a Microsoft SQL Database Upgrading Ektron CMS400.NET The following is an example of the steps for creating a backup of a Microsoft SQL database. 1. Open Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Manager. 2. Click on Microsoft SQL Servers > SQL Server Group. 3. Click on the server where the database is located. 4. Click on Databases. 5.
