港珠師範生看全球化與教育的異同<br />

Hong Kong and Zhuhai on Globalization and <strong>Education</strong><br />

Abstract<br />

Globalization has affected many facets <strong>of</strong> life, and learning and<br />

education are no exception. An important task <strong>of</strong> teachers in both<br />

primary and secondary schools is therefore to help students to<br />

develop a global outlook. This has become an important educational<br />

aim in both Hong Kong and Mainland China. This qualitative study<br />

examines how future teachers in Hong Kong and Zhuhai perceive the<br />

consequences <strong>of</strong> globalization in their respective local contexts. This<br />

cultural approach to global understanding is based on the view that<br />

social reality is a socially constructed reality in which the interaction<br />

and interchange <strong>of</strong> cultural values and beliefs affect the formation <strong>of</strong><br />

values. In this paper we try to reconstruct the global views and values<br />

<strong>of</strong> these student teachers. <strong>The</strong> commonalities and differences in the<br />

effects <strong>of</strong> globalization on individual learning, on education, on the<br />

local society and on the national culture <strong>of</strong> student teachers <strong>of</strong> the two<br />

sites under consideration are critically assessed through informal and<br />

non-structured interviews.<br />

前言<br />

在全球經濟一體化和互聯網不斷普及下,不同地區的人雖然越來越<br />

看到全球化的急速發展。在楊尊偉、王紅(2004)的文章中,介紹了加<br />

拿大通過國際教育和全球教育,培育青年關於世界的教育。國際教育使<br />

學生形成寬廣的國際視野,了解當今世界文化對本國的意義,及從小樹<br />

立「我是世界公民」的觀念。而全球教育則關注地球這個整體,通過增<br />

加本土學生的知識來改善世界居民的生活條件,鼓勵他們以緩解世界問<br />

題的方式去生活和行動(頁50)。在全球一體化的情況下,香港師範生<br />

怎樣看待全球化與教育?而內地師範生的觀點與香港的又有何異同呢?<br />

此文將透過文獻分析及質性訪談,以半結構性的開放問題初步了解香港<br />

與珠海兩地師範生對全球化所帶來的影響之理解。在整理了兩地師範生<br />

的訪談資料後,筆者兩人從中抽取了師範生對全球化的概念、全球下對<br />

個人學習、對教育、對當地社會及對傳統文化等各方面的看法。期望透<br />

過比較和分析,勾劃出兩地師範看全球化有哪些相近或不同的想像。<br />

師範生眼中的全球化<br />

全球化是什麼呢?有學者指出全球化最好是理解成一種「想像<br />

物」,是人類藉著想像力來組織一些活動的形式,並推動這些形式按一<br />
