Llyfr Cofnodion Iaith
Ar gyfer plant iau a'r sawl sydd ond yn gwybod ychydig eiriau o'r iaith darged, mae
Llyfr Cofnodion Iaith yn gweithio'n well. Gallwch ddefnyddio'r llyfr cofnodion hwn i
gadw cofnod systematig o gyfathrebu'r plentyn, megis disgrifiadau cryno o
ddealltwriaeth a chyfathrebu - hyd yn oed cyn i'r plentyn ddechrau siarad. Pan fydd
y plentyn yn dechrau siarad, gallwch wneud cofnodion byr o'r hyn a ddywedir
ganddo. Cofnodwch hwy air am air a chyn gynted â phosibl; mae'n hawdd
anghofio'r ymadroddion a ddefnyddir gan blant. Y ffordd fwyaf hawdd o wneud
hynny yw drwy gadw'r llyfr cofnodion wrth law bob amser, gan y bydd plant yn
dweud pethau drwy'r amser, neu defnyddiwch nodiadau post-it. Yn ddiweddarach
a phan fydd gennych amser, gallwch gofnodi'r geiriau a'r ymadroddion yn llyfr
cofnodion iaith y plentyn ei hun.
Language Logbook
For smaller children and those who know only a few words of the target language,
a Language Logbook works better. You can use this logbook to keep a systematic
record of the child’s communication, such as brief descriptions of comprehension
and communication – even before the child starts to speak. When the child begins
to talk, you can make brief notes of what the child says. Write them down exactly
and as soon as possible; it’s easy to forget the expressions children use. The easiest
way to do it is to keep the logbook handy at all times, as the children will say
things throughout the day, or you may like to use post-it notes. Later and when time
allows, you can record the words and phrases in the child’s own language logbook.
