Myfyrio<br />

Gobeithiwn fod y canllaw hwn wedi rhoi ysbrydoliaeth a syniadau newydd i chi am<br />

eich gwaith. Gobeithiwn hefyd ei fod wedi rhoi cyfle i chi a'ch cydweithwyr fyfyrio<br />

ar ba fath o adnoddau sydd ar gael i chi ar gyfer ysgogi datblygiad ieithyddol<br />

plant a'r agweddau ar eich gweithgareddau sy'n ymwneud â datblygiad<br />

ieithyddol. Yn ogystal, gallwch hefyd fyfyrio ar sut y gellid cynnig yr iaith darged<br />

mewn lleoliadau cyn ysgol mewn ffordd chwareus a naturiol ond eto bwriadol<br />

iawn.<br />

Nawr mae'n amser i grynhoi eich myfyrdodau ar y gwaith rydych wedi'i wneud yn<br />

yr adrannau amrywiol a meddwl am sut yr hoffech barhau. Yn yr adran hon<br />

byddwn yn myfyrio ar yr hyn a drafodwyd yn yr adrannau blaenorol ac yn cynnig<br />

awgrymiadau ar sut y gellir datblygu'r gwaith hwn ymhellach.<br />

Gallai ymarferwyr cyn ysgol drafod p'un a yw'r canllaw hwn wedi newid eich<br />

gwaith ymwybyddiaeth ieithyddol a'r ffordd rydych yn mynd ati i gynllunio ar gyfer<br />

defnyddio iaith, a sut mae wedi gwneud hynny. Ystyriwch yr agweddau rydych am<br />

ganolbwyntio arnynt yn benodol. Sut y gallwch ddefnyddio'r adnoddau o bob adran<br />

er mwyn gwneud eich lleoliad cyn ysgol yn ieithyddol ymwybodol? Efallai y gallwch<br />

hyd yn oed lunio cynllun gwaith sy'n addas ar gyfer y plant rydych yn gweithio â<br />

hwy, yn ogystal â'r amgylchiadau rydych yn gweithio ynddynt.<br />

Chi yw'r rhai sy'n gwybod beth yr hoffech ei newid yn eich gwaith ysgogi iaith. Er<br />

mwyn cyflawni'r nodau a bennwyd gennych, mae'n fuddiol eich bod yn parhau i<br />

arsylwi, dadansoddi ac addasu'r gweithgareddau yn eich lleoliad fel eu bod yn<br />

diwallu anghenion a diddordebau'r plant. Dylech gofio ei bod yn bwysig bod pob<br />

plentyn yn teimlo ei fod yn cael ei gynnwys. Mae hyn yn creu teimlad o ddiogelwch<br />

sy'n hanfodol ar gyfer gwaith datblygu ieithyddol yn y lleoliad cyn ysgol.<br />

Reflection<br />

We hope that this guide has provided you with inspiration and new ideas for your<br />

work. We also hope that it has given you and your colleagues an opportunity to<br />

reflect on what sorts of resources you have available for stimulating children’s<br />

<strong>language</strong> development and the <strong>language</strong> development aspects of your activities.<br />

In addition, you may also reflect on how the target <strong>language</strong> in a playful and<br />

natural way, yet very deliberately, can be offered in pre-school settings.<br />

Now it’s time to summarise your reflections on the work you have done in the<br />

various sections and think about how you would like to continue. In this section we<br />

will reflect on what has been covered in the previous sections and provide<br />

suggestions on how this work can be developed even further.<br />

Pre-school practitioners could discuss if this guide has changed your <strong>language</strong><br />

awareness work and the way you plan for <strong>language</strong> use, and how it has done so.<br />

Consider the aspects you particularly want to focus on. How can you construct the<br />

material from each section to create your pre-school setting to be linguistically<br />

aware? Maybe you could even create a workplan that is suitable for the children<br />

you work with, as well as the circumstances that you work in.<br />

You are the ones who know what you would like to change in your <strong>language</strong><br />

stimulating work. In order to achieve the goals you have set, it is beneficial to<br />

continue to observe, analyse and adapt the activities at your setting so that they<br />

meet the needs and the interests of the children. Keep in mind that it is important<br />

that all children feel included. This creates a feeling of security which is essential<br />

for the <strong>language</strong> development work in the pre-school setting.
