Defnyddiwch ardal sgwrsio
Diben yr ardal sgwrsio yw cael cornel lle caiff plant y cyfle i chwarae rôl a sgwrsio
â'u ffrindiau.
Adnoddau:
- Bwrdd a chadeiriau
- Llyfrau ysgrifennu, pensiliau a ffonau i'r plant sgwrsio â'i gilydd
(byddai gwneud hen ffonau diangen yn ddiogel yn ddelfrydol.)
- Cardbord ar gyfer swigod
Ein rôl fel oedolion yw cofnodi sgyrsiau'r plant ac ail-greu'r trafodaethau hyn ar
ffurf swigen fawr, ag enw'r plentyn wedi'i labelu ar y wal er mwyn i bawb ei weld.
Mae hyn yn ysgogi ac yn annog plant i sgwrsio yn yr iaith chwarae, yn ogystal â
darparu tystiolaeth a chydnabyddiaeth o gynnydd y plentyn.
Gallech chwarae gyda'r plant yn yr ardal sgwrsio, gan ddangos iddynt sut y gellir
datblygu sefyllfaoedd gan ddefnyddio cystrawen a geirfa, e.e. mae rhywun wedi
cael anaf ac mae angen i chi ffonio'r meddyg - pa gystrawennau y dylid eu
defnyddio? Pa eirfa sydd ei hangen arnynt? Dysgwch rigwm i'r plant am ffonio'r
meddyg, e.e. Pum Mwnci Bach. Cyn hir bydd y plant yn actio'r golygfeydd eu hunain,
ond mae'n hanfodol eu bod yn cael cyfarwyddyd a gwybodaeth ieithyddol gan yr
ymarferwyr.
Utilise a chat area
The idea of the chat area is to have a corner where children have an opportunity to
role play and chat with their friends.
Resources:
- Table and chairs,
- Note pads, pencils and telephones for children to converse with each other
(old disused phones made safe are ideal.)
- Cardboard for bubbles
Our role as adults is to document the children´s conversations and re-create these
discussions in large bubble form, labeled with child’s name on the wall for all to
see. This action motivates and encourages children to converse in the language of
play, as well as providing evidence and recognition of child’s progress.
81 Amser chwarae Dweud a disgrifio gyda phlant 1–4 oed / Playtime Telling and describing with children aged 1–4 years
You could play with the children within the chat area, showing them how situations
can be developed using sentence patterns and vocabulary, e.g. somebody hurt
themselves and you need to phone the doctor– which patterns do they use? What
vocabulary do they need? Teach them a rhyme about phoning the doctor e.g. Five
Little Monkeys. After a while the children will play out these scenes themselves, but
it is essential that they receive direction and knowledge of language from the
practitioners.
