Bulb Replacement Headlamp<br />
To replace the blackout headlamp, do the following:<br />
1. Remove the three<br />
screws (A) from the<br />
front of the headlamp.<br />
Marker Lamps (Blackout)<br />
Note: The bulbs in the blackout tail/stoplamp and front<br />
marker lamps are light emitting diodes (LED) instead of<br />
incandescent bulbs. They are not replaceable and are<br />
serviced as an assembly. For bulb replacement refer to<br />
the <strong>2006</strong> <strong>LSSV</strong> Military Trucks Service <strong>Manual</strong><br />
<strong>Supplement</strong>.<br />

Blackout Headlamp 1073<br />
2. Remove the lens cover from the lamp.<br />
3. Press in on the bulb and turn counterclockwise.<br />
4. Pull the old bulb straight out of the socket.<br />
5. Put the new bulb into the socket and press in and<br />
turn clockwise.<br />
6. Install the rubber lens gasket into the lamp<br />
groove.<br />
7. Reinstall the lens and tighten the screws.<br />

Note: The following bulbs are not replaceable and are<br />
serviced as an assembly:<br />
<strong>LSSV</strong> Vehicle<br />
• Fiberglass Cap CHMSL Lamp<br />
• License Plate Lamp<br />
