Communicable Disease Surveillance Tables Tables A summary of diseases currently being reported by each jurisdiction is provided in Table 1. There were 28,499 notifi cations to the National Notifi able Diseases Surveillance System (NNDSS) with a notifi cation date between 1 October and 31 December 2005 (Table 2). The notifi cation rate of diseases per 100,000 population for each State or Territory is presented in Table 3. There were 5,223 reports received by the Virology and Serology Laboratory Reporting Scheme (LabVISE) in the reporting period, 1 October to 31 December 2005 (Tables 4 and 5). Table 1.
