Cisco TelePresence System Endpoint
From an overall TelePresence deployment perspective, the primary function of the Cisco TelePresence
System endpoint is to transmit and receive the audio and video media for TelePresence calls. However,
from an FCAPS management perspective, the Cisco TelePresence System endpoint also plays a role in
performance management. The Cisco TelePresence System endpoint collects statistics regarding
ongoing TelePresence meetings, or the previous meeting if the device is not in a current call. These can
be viewed through the Cisco TelePresence System web-based GUI interface, as shown in the example
in Figure 6-34.
