<strong>Cisco</strong> TelePresence System Endpoint<br />

From an overall TelePresence deployment perspective, the primary function of the <strong>Cisco</strong> TelePresence<br />

System endpoint is to transmit and receive the audio and video media for TelePresence calls. However,<br />

from an FCAPS management perspective, the <strong>Cisco</strong> TelePresence System endpoint also plays a role in<br />

performance management. The <strong>Cisco</strong> TelePresence System endpoint collects statistics regarding<br />

ongoing TelePresence meetings, or the previous meeting if the device is not in a current call. These can<br />

be viewed through the <strong>Cisco</strong> TelePresence System web-based GUI interface, as shown in the example<br />

in Figure 6-34.<br />
