brickwork, plumbing, wood occupations,<br />
electrical installation, plastering, painting<br />
<strong>and</strong> decorating. There is also a 12 week<br />
level 1 general building course at North<br />

Halifax Skills Centre. A range of courses<br />
are run at North Halifax.<br />
Academies Academies run in dance,<br />
football (in association with FC Halifax)<br />
<strong>and</strong> rugby (in association with Halifax RL).<br />
These give talented 16-18 year olds the<br />
chance to study qualifications alongside<br />
dance <strong>and</strong> sport training. Dance <strong>and</strong><br />
football are open to both men <strong>and</strong> women.<br />
Acceptance is subject to an audition<br />
or trial. Mention ‘Academy’ in your<br />
