§ 244 Whereas the United Nations
Security Council may decide, in accordance
with Article 41 of the Charter of
the United Nations, on measures not
involving the use of armed force to be
deployed to give effect to its decisions,
and may call upon the members of the
United Nations to apply such measures.
§ 246 Whereas such measures may
include complete or partial interruption
of economic relations and of rail,
sea, air, postal, telegraphic, radio, and
other means of communication, and
the severance of diplomatic relations.
§ 248 Whereas the Members of the
United Nations have agreed to accept
and carry out the decisions of the
Security Council in accordance with
the Charter of the United Nations;
and
Whereas [the Member State] is a
member of the United Nations.
§ 250 An Act to enable effect to be
given to decisions under Article 41 of
the Charter of the United Nations.
