Sartocon ® Slice<br />
The Pilot-Scale Crossflow System for Batches of 1 to 100 Liters<br />
Sartocon Slice cassettes are made of the same<br />
materials and construction and, therefore,<br />
the identical flow path length as the Sartocon<br />
cassettes, used for larger-scale production .<br />
The scale-up and the scale-down is perfectly<br />
linear throughout the range of applications,<br />
from cell harvesting to protein purification<br />
and concentration. Validation requirements,<br />
and their high costs, are greatly reduced or<br />
entirely eliminated.<br />
All cassettes have excellent chemical<br />
compatibility, covering a wide pH-range.<br />
Depending on the MWCO, they are<br />
autoclavable or in-line steamable, so that<br />
they can be easily and efficiently cleaned<br />
and sterilized prior to re-use.<br />
The Sartocon Slice holding system can<br />
accommodate up to three or five Sartocon<br />
Slice cassettes.<br />
It is designed for maximum performance and<br />
ease of cleaning. The system is designed with<br />
all process connectors on a stationary plate,<br />
which allows the fixed tubing of the holder<br />
and effective cleaning. Sartoflow alpha is an<br />
optimized ultrafiltration system including a<br />
pump with optional data recording.<br />
