Jagdish Sheth<br />

Jagdish Sheth was a Professor of <strong>Marketing</strong> at the University of Southern<br />

California; Distinguished Professor at the University of Illinois<br />

and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Currently he is the<br />

Charles H Kellstadt Professor of <strong>Marketing</strong> at the Goizueta Business<br />

School, Emory University.<br />

He has published extensively. His book, which he co-authored with<br />

John A Howard, ‘The Theory of Buyer Behaviour’ (1969), is a classic<br />

in the field.<br />

He has been rated as one of the top ten marketing professors in the<br />

country in a survey of marketing professionals. His areas of influence<br />

are global marketing, global competition, telecom marketing and<br />

strategic thinking. He is a distinguished educator, author, speaker and<br />

senior management advisor.<br />

Thomas Nagle<br />

Thomas Nagle is a Professor of <strong>Marketing</strong> at Boston University and<br />

a President of Strategic Pricing Group, Boston, Massachusetts<br />

He earns his place in the ‘guru table’ because of his work and influence<br />

in positioning the subject of pricing at strategic level and within<br />

the context of the marketing mix concept.<br />
