mariae (Dunaeva, 1961). The morphogenesis
of the first two species is studied.
For the first time axial zooecia are revealed
in the suborder Golgdfussitrypina,
which existed in parallel with the suborder
Rhabdomesina of the order Rhabdomesida.
A hypothesis that the new
family evolved from the subfamily
Nicklesoporinae Gorjunova, 1985 of the
family Goldfussitrypidae, 1985 is proposed.
Some questions of the ecological
adaptation of these bryozoans in the
Late Carboniferous marine basin of the
East European Platform are discussed.
A new genus Lynnopora gen. nov.
with the type species L. lunata sp. nov.
and a new species Revalotrypa krestensis
Koromyslova sp. nov. from the
Arenigian Stage (Latorp and Volkhov
horizons) of the Ordovician of the Leningrad
Region are described. The positions
of the genus Revalotrypa Bassler,
1952 and the family Revalotrypidae
Gorjunova, 1988 in the order
Cystoporida are substantiated. The problems
of biogeography and ecological
adaptations of bryozoans of the family
Revalotrypidae are discussed.
New bryozoan species from the stratotype
( 英 文 ). Gorjunova R V; Sedaeva K M.
Representatives of nine bryozoan
genera of four orders are identified for
the first time from the carbonate deposits
of the stratotype section of the Upper
Kazanian Substage of the Middle Permian.
Among them four new species are
established and described: Permopora
volgensis sp. nov., Stellahexaformis burovi
sp. nov., Alternifenestella esaulovae
sp. nov., and Wjatkella definita sp. nov.
A brief lithological characterization is
provided of the carbonate deposits that
contain the remains of these bryozoans
and were formed under the conditions of
transgression-regression cycles of the
Late Kazanian marine basin. Some questions
concerning the taphonomy, ecology,
and morphology of the bryozoans
studied are considered.
New bryozoans from the Middle
Callovian (Middle Jurassic) of Moscow
city (Reptomulticava pileola sp. nov.)
and the Moscow Region (Spirodella radiolobata
gen. et sp. nov.) and from the
Middle Oxfordian (Upper Jurassic) of
the Kostroma Region (Hyporosopora
mittai sp. nov.) are described. All three
bryozoans belong to the class Stenolaemata.
Some features of their colonial
organization and environmental conditions
are discussed.
