5 CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION AND SCHEMATIC DIAGRAMS T2130<br />

U11 and U12 EEPROMS are from S. P. Radio initialized and programmed with certain constants related<br />

to the specific T2130, where the TX-processor is located. The constants are saved in the EEPROMS by<br />

means of service programmes.<br />

When any of the EEPROMS are replaced both must be initialized again and the T2130 must be calibrated.<br />

Refer to the service programmes.<br />

When the TX-processor board is replaced or is moved to another T2130, the T2130 must be calibrated<br />

again. Refer to the service programme.<br />

FILTER MODULE DRIVER<br />

The filter module driver activates all relays on the Output Filter (2). It consists of a serial to parallel shift<br />

register U10, 74HC595 and 8 open collector Darlington drivers located in U08 and U09 (MC1413/<br />

ULN2003).<br />

The filter module driver is connected to the serial device bus and is supplied from the +5VA. The +15V<br />

is connected to U08 and U09 <strong>for</strong> protection purposes.<br />

A/D CONVERTER AND SURROUNDING CIRCUITS<br />

The A/D converter (ADC) converts the following analog signals to digital values:<br />

- <strong>for</strong>ward voltage, (V<strong>for</strong>w)<br />

- reverse voltage, (Vrev)<br />

- +24V sense<br />

- temperature in PA (converted to a voltage)<br />

The ADC (U17, ADCO834) is an 8 bit converter and a 4 channel multiplexer (MUX). Data in and out are<br />

serial.<br />

The ADC is connected to the serial device bus and to a reference voltage, +5.00V to the Vref input (pin<br />

9). It is possible to switch the V<strong>for</strong>w to the Vref input (pin 9) on the ADC and to make a rathiometric<br />

measuring with V<strong>for</strong>w and Vref as inputs giving the parameter RHO direct.<br />
