3.4 TENURE OF ROOMS
3.4.1 Notice Period
Members coming into residence for the year must give a term’s notice if
they wish to vacate their room during the year. Failure to do so renders a
member liable to full charges for the term. This rule applies to all rooms and
includes those in Bene’t House and Westminster College.
Members who are allocated rooms in the sub-let house must stay there
for the academical year. Those members wishing to stay throughout the
summer may do so by paying the full quarter’s rent.
3.4.2 Unauthorised Occupancy
If a room is occupied beyond the agreed period without permission, there
will be a surcharge of double the daily rate, and a charge may be levied for
the additional inconvenience to the administrative and housekeeping staff.
