SOME USEFUL CONTACT INFORMATION<br />
The Emergency Services (fire, police, ambulance) can be called on 999. For<br />
non-emergency matters, the police prefer to be contacted on Cambridge<br />
358966. Urgent medical advice out <strong>of</strong> hours is available at CAMDOC, Tel:<br />
Cambridge (01223) 464242. An emergency doctor can usually be contacted<br />
via the medical practice at which you are registered.<br />
INTERNAL<br />
• The <strong>College</strong> Office (tel. 336250) is situated <strong>of</strong>f the main foyer. All<br />
enquiries and payments should be made to Reception. Office hours are<br />
9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Opening hours at the weekend<br />
are 8.00am–11.00pm). Outside these hours assistance may be obtained<br />
in urgent matters (e.g. emergency plumbing/electrical repairs, first aid,<br />
etc.) by first reporting to the Security Porter.<br />
• The Dean (tel. 336123) is the Senior Resident Fellow. His room is A12.<br />
Other contact names and addresses are posted on the <strong>College</strong> notice<br />
board.<br />
• The Bursar’s <strong>of</strong>fice is situated on the ground floor. (tel. 336126)<br />
• Tutors can be contacted via e-mail, via the Tutorial Office, via their<br />
<strong>College</strong> pigeonholes or by telephone (at work or home). See the <strong>College</strong><br />
Calendar <strong>for</strong> details.<br />
• The Tutorial Secretaries are based in Room A1 on the ground floor, (tel.<br />
336252/336086/767068) and can give advice on many matters <strong>of</strong> a<br />
Tutorial nature.<br />
EXTERNAL<br />
• Bus In<strong>for</strong>mation: The Bus <strong>St</strong>ation is in Drummer <strong>St</strong>reet. There is a free<br />
City Centre Shuttle bus service which operates every 15 minutes from<br />
9am till 5 pm (buses marked: City Centre Shuttle).<br />
Details <strong>of</strong> the Uni4 bus service linking the <strong>University</strong> sites on the west<br />
<strong>of</strong> Cambridge to the city centre and Addenbrooke’s Hospital can be<br />
found at http://www.admin.cam.ac.uk/<strong>of</strong>fices/embs/travel/bus.html. A<br />
discounted fare <strong>of</strong> 50p per journey is available <strong>for</strong> <strong>University</strong> Card<br />
holders.<br />
