Sharique will coordinate with Samriddhi to mobilise
and/or co-organise these day observations jointly
with community platforms
Members of the community platform will take the
lead in organising day observations for relevant
topics and involve also local government officials.
Samriddhi will be setting the dates with community
platforms based on Sharique’s request, while
Sharique will provide facilitators and lead the whole
event.

Samriddhi may request cultural teams to perform at
certain occasions (e.g. day observations)
Sharique will seek conceptual support from
Samriddhi and coordinate activities of these
networks as they emerge.
Sharique will inform Samriddhi about the dates of
UP planning events. Samriddhi will build the
capacity of the community platforms to be prepared
and play an active role in the planning process.
Samriddhi builds the capacity of the community
platforms to be prepared to participate in meetings
organised by UP.
Sharique will expose the UPs to promising local
economic activities of community platforms.
Sharique will further strengthen the UPs
engagement in local economic development, which
would include their support to local groups,
entrepreneurs (including such supported by
Samriddhi) involved in such activities.
Sharique will encourage the Upazilla Parishad to
extend their support and influence the Upazilla
level line agencies to support the communities in
local economic activities.
