How did your Product Groups develop?<br />

JBS Our Food Manufacturers Products business showed good growth, including<br />

specifically good results in specialty products and fillings. Some of our emerging<br />

markets in various Regions performed at double-digit growth rates.The Gourmet<br />

&Specialties Products business achieved strong growth in all segments throughout<br />

the year,especially in Asia-Pacific and Europe.Our global Gourmet brands Cacao<br />

Barry ® and Callebaut ® as well as the various local brands contributed to the overall<br />

volume growth. TheGlobal Sourcing &Cocoa Products business reported doubledigit<br />

growth driven by the strong demand for cocoa powder and the sales of cocoa<br />

products to strategic customers.<br />

In September 2011, Barry Callebaut completed the sale of its European<br />

Consumer Products business to the Belgian Baronie Group. Are you now focusing<br />

entirely on business-to-business?<br />

AJ The sale will enable us to focus on our core business and is fully in line with earlier<br />

announcements as well as with our strategy.<br />

JBS We believe that we found avery good new home for our European Consumer<br />

Products business and our former colleagues. Additionally, they became an outsourcing<br />

partner through along-term supply agreement.We supply the new owners<br />

with liquid chocolate as well as with cocoa beans and semi-finished products.<br />

Were you able to secure other outsourcing deals?<br />

AJ At the very beginning of the fiscal year,weannounced the signing of along-term<br />

global master product agreement with Kraft Foods.The additional volumes will be<br />

built up gradually over aperiod of three years.<br />

JBS We also expanded our supply agreement with Hershey.Inour eyes,wecould not<br />

get anicer compliment after securing our first outsourcing volumes with Hershey<br />

in 2007. We also closed a new outsourcing agreement with Chocolates Turín<br />

in Mexico, including the acquisition of aproduction facility in Toluca, further<br />

enhancing our presence in the promising Mexican market.<br />
