Triterpene alcohol is derived from gamma oryzanol by hydrolysis process and consists mainly of molecules with pentacyclic structure: cycloartenol and 24- methylcycloartenol. cycloartenol 24-methylcycloartenol Triterpene alcohol exhibits a strong collagen synthesis promotion activity in skin and can be effectively used as anti-aging / anti-wrinkle / lifting active ingredient. Oryzalipid melts at around 60 degrees Celsius: low melting point makes it easy to incorporate triterpene alcohol in the formulation. Oryzalipid prevents crystallization of triterpene alcohol in the formulation (crystallization was not observed in the cream with 2% Oryzalipid kept at -5 degrees Celsius for 4 months). In-vivo Evaluation: Wrinkle Improvement Effect Cream with 3% Oryzalipid was tested on human subjects for short-term wrinkle improvement (1; 2 and 3 weeks). Application: twice daily (morning / night). Control: placebo cream.
