Our range of anti-inflammatory and irritation reducing ingredients contains superior
actives, mainly of botanical origin. We offer various clinically tested materials: from
licorice derivatives to well accepted actives, such as Shiso (Perilla) extract and 100%
natural Bisabolol. Lecinol S-10 is an emulsifier with unique anti-irritation properties: it
helps to prepare elegant emulsions and contributes to formulation’s safety.

Lecinol S-10
Water-soluble active derived from licorice roots. Clinically tested in
Japan and approved as a quasi-drug ingredient. Essential
component of most skin care products in Japan.
Reduces irritation and inflammation. Inhibits histamine release and
hyaluronidase. Suppresses UV-induced erythema.
Oil-soluble fraction of licorice. Superior anti-irritation and antiinflammatory
properties. Clinically tested (prevention of UV-induced
skin damage). Approved as an ingredient for quasi-drugs
in Japan.
Hydrogenated lecithin derived from soya. Contains 25-30% of
Phosphatidyl Choline. Natural emulsifier with anti-inflammatory
properties. Effectively reduces irritation. Decreases irritation potential
of other surfactants. Enhances anti-inflammatory properties of oilsoluble
actives (e.g. Stearyl Glycyrrhetinate).
Shiso Extract NA
Extract from the leafs of Perilla.
Contains glucoside proven to
possess anti-inflammatory properties.
Anti-allergenic effect. Inhibition of
TNF induction activity. Clinical
evaluation in-vivo: improvement of
allergic dermatitis (3%; 8 weeks;
improvement: 80%). Recommended
dosage to maintain healthy and
natural skin: 0.5-3%.

Scutellaria Root
Extract BG
Extracted from the roots of Scutellaria baicalensis. Contains strong
anti-inflammatory actives: baicalin and baicalein. Superior antihyaluronidase
effect. SOD-like activity. Suppression of allergic
reactions.
Natural Bisabolol
Obtained from direct distillation of Candeia’s (Vanillomopsis
Erythropapa) essential oil. Contains minimum 95% of (-)-alpha -
bisabolol isomer (L-alpha-bisabolol). Strong anti-irritation and antiinnflammatory
properties. Reduces skin dryness. Four times more
effective than synthetic bisabolol.
