In this section we present some useful ingredients with anti-microbial properties. We
offer safe and unique solutions to provide microbiological stability of skin and oral
care products.
Anti-microbial Ingredients Botanical ingredients are marked :
Biosol
Bactericidal, antiseptic and fungicidal agent. Very
effective against different types of microorganisms.
Biosol can be used in antiseptic washes, soaps and
shampoos, as well as oral care. In oral care Biosol
proves to effectively penetrate and decompose the
bacterial film formed inside the mouth. Biosol has
superior safety and stability and is easy-to-use in the
cosmetic preparations.
Licorice Extract AM
Anti-microbial version of of Glycyrrhiza glabra
(licorice) extract for oral care (tooth paste, mouth
washes etc). Contains up to 1.5% active fraction
Glabridin. Strong anti-microbial effect. Inhibition of
dental plaque formation. Anti-caries effect.
Recommended use level: 0.1%.
Mukurossi Extract
Powder
Extract of Mukurossi (Sapindus). Contains saponin
glucosides and exhibits superior anti-microbial
effect against acne causing bacteria. Inhibits
lipase activity. Additional anti-inflammatory effect.
Excellent botanical active to increase
microbiological stability of a skin care formulation.
Honeysuckle
Extract BG
Extract derived from leaf of Lonicera Japonica.
Strong anti-microbial effect. Inhibition of c-AMP
phosphodiesterase.
Zanthoxylum
Extract BG
This extract is obtained from a plant which grows in
the mountains of Japan. Anti-microbial properties of
this plant are well known and it has been widely used
in traditional medicine. Additional anti-oxidation and
anti-inflammatory effects.
