Anti-acne<br />
This section presents active agents and other ingredients recommended for a fine<br />
anti-acne product. Our actives are safe and clinically tested in Japan.<br />
Primary Ingredients Botanical ingredients are marked :<br />
Licorice <strong>Extract</strong> P-UP<br />
<strong>Extract</strong> from the roots of Glycyrrhiza inflata.<br />
Contains 15% of Licochalcone A, a strong antiacne<br />
active. Inhib<strong>it</strong>s 5-alpha reductase and<br />
androgen receptor activ<strong>it</strong>y. Suppresses lipase and<br />
phospholipase A2. Anti-microbial effect against<br />
acne inducing bacteria. Clinically tested in Japan:<br />
55% improvement after 4 weeks at concentration<br />
0.1%. Available in powder form and as an<br />
aqueous solution (Aqua Licorice <strong>Extract</strong> P-U).<br />

skin lightening / clarifying agent and antioxidant.<br />
