The blocking device is build <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> sheet aluminium supported by in total six stanchi<strong>on</strong>s. The<br />

plat<str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g>m has to be equipped with stanchi<strong>on</strong> holes. More rows <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> stanchi<strong>on</strong> holes give more<br />

flexibility when loading. The device is divided into three parts <str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g> easy handling and at the<br />

same time the different parts can be used in different loading patterns. The weight <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> each part<br />

is about 20 kg. Blocking devices not in use are stowed in the headboard, thus not c<strong>on</strong>suming<br />

any space in the loading area, see photo below.<br />

The maximum load capacity <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the blocking device is presented in the figure below. If the<br />

device is stressed like the alternative in the middle (evenly distributed to half the height) and<br />

the coefficient <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> fricti<strong>on</strong> between cargo and plat<str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g>m is at least µ=0.4, the devices (all three<br />

parts) can block a weight <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> 23 t<strong>on</strong>nes <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> cargo in <str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g>ward directi<strong>on</strong>.<br />

Max load: 23 kN (2.3 t<strong>on</strong>) 46 kN (4.6 t<strong>on</strong>) 140 kN (14 t<strong>on</strong>)<br />
