is taken from the fricti<strong>on</strong> value table in VVFS 1998:95 secti<strong>on</strong> 5.0.4 or from referred<br />
instructi<strong>on</strong>s where the fricti<strong>on</strong> has been stated by inclining test. In some load cases the<br />
minimum value <str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g> road transport µ=0.2 is used.<br />
10.1.4 Time c<strong>on</strong>sumpti<strong>on</strong> – lashings<br />
The time c<strong>on</strong>sumpti<strong>on</strong> to per<str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g>m the different alternatives <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> lashing is estimated to the<br />
following values:<br />
− Scotches or wooden bars 2 min/scotch or bar<br />
− Nails 0.5 min/nail<br />
− Top-over lashing 5 min/lashing<br />
− Loop lashing 10 min/lashing<br />
− Spring lashing 10 min/lashing<br />
− Straight/cross lashing 5 min/lashing<br />
− Round-turn lashing 10 min/lashing<br />
− H-brace (pre-manufactured) 5 min/H-brace<br />
− Blocking with empty pallets 1 min/pallet<br />
The time value includes securing and un-securing the different alternative methods.<br />
