Deemed-to-Satisfy Provisions<br />

F1.0 Deemed-to-Satisfy Provisions<br />

(a)<br />

Performance Requirement FP1.4, for the prevention of the penetration of water<br />

through external walls, must be complied with.<br />

There are no Deemed-to-Satisfy Provisions for this Performance Requirement in<br />

respect of external walls.<br />

Where a <strong>Building</strong> Solution is proposed to comply with the Deemed-to-Satisfy<br />

Provisions, Performance RequirementsFP1.1 to FP1.3 and FP1.5 to FP1.7 are<br />

satisfied by complying with F1.1 to F1.13.<br />

Where a <strong>Building</strong> Solution is proposed as an Alternative Solution to the Deemed-to-<br />

Satisfy Provisions of F1.1 to F1.13, the relevant Performance Requirements must<br />

be determined in accordance with A0.10.<br />

F1.1 Stormwater drainage<br />

Stormwater drainage must— comply with AS/NZS 3500.3.<br />

(a)<br />

comply with AS/NZS 3500.3; and<br />

(b) where eaves gutters are installed, be designed to remove rainwater falling at a 5<br />

minute duration rainfall intensity for a—<br />

(i)<br />

(ii)<br />

100 year average recurrence interval; or<br />

20 year average recurrence interval, if not less than one overflow measure<br />

per downpipe is installed in accordance with Table F1.1b to remove the<br />

appropriate overflow volume in Table F1.1a.<br />
