Where a Building Solution is proposed to comply with the Deemed-to-Satisfy
Provisions—
(i)
(ii)
Performance Requirement IP1.1 is satisfied by complying with I1.1; and
Performance Requirement IP1.2 is satisfied by complying with I1.2.
Where a Building Solution is proposed as an Alternative Solution to the Deemed-to-
Satisfy Provisions of I1.1 to I1.2, the relevant Performance Requirements must be
determined in accordance with A0.10.

Safety measures must—

perform to a standard not less than they were originally required to achieve; and
for those safety measures listed in Tables I1.1 to I1.13, perform to a standard not
less than that determined using the corresponding BCA provisions.
