Refreshments<br />

Serve blue Jell-O with gummy fish “swimming” in it, goldfish crackers, or submarine<br />

s<strong>and</strong>wiches. Blue or green colored punch can be served as “seawater.” Blue punch can be made<br />

using berry drink mixes or Kool-Aid.<br />

Songs<br />

Sing “Baby Beluga” from Baby Beluga by Raffi or read the book Yellow Submarine by The<br />

Beatles <strong>and</strong> play the music during your celebration. Lyrics for both songs are provided at NIEHS,<br />

www.niehs.nih.gov/kids/lyrics/submarine.htm. “Yellow Submarine” is also included on Rockin’<br />

includes patterns that could be printed <strong>and</strong> copied for the children to hold up while singing.<br />
