(8) represent that a school or program has sponsorship, credentials, approval, characteristics,<br />

credit transferability, uses, benefits, or qualities that it does not have;<br />

(9) discredit another school or its programs by false or misleading representation of facts;<br />

(10) solicit enrollments in a program that has not been approved by the <strong>Commission</strong>;<br />

(11) solicit students for a school through an employment agency; or<br />

(12) violate any legal requirement or prohibition contained in the Act or this chapter.<br />

§807.61. School Director Requirements<br />

Each school shall designate one person as the school director.<br />

A person may not concurrently serve as a school director for more than one school.<br />

A school director must be physically present at the school's location for a majority of the time the<br />

school is open for regular operation.<br />

§807.62. School Director Qualifications and Duties<br />

A school director of a small school shall have administrative or management experience. A<br />

school director of a small school shall be of good reputation and is not required to attend a<br />

<strong>Commission</strong>-sponsored workshop prior to initial approval by the <strong>Commission</strong>.<br />

A school director of other than a small school shall be of good reputation and have a total of five<br />

years of administrative or management experience. An equivalent duration of higher education,<br />

college or university, may be substituted for each year of experience.<br />

The school shall obtain <strong>Commission</strong> approval for the school director before employment of the<br />

school director.<br />

A school director shall attend a <strong>Commission</strong>-sponsored workshop and demonstrate a proficiency<br />

of the knowledge required to operate a school before final <strong>Commission</strong> approval may be<br />

granted. The <strong>Commission</strong> may require a school director to attend additional workshops<br />

scheduled by the <strong>Commission</strong> in order to maintain skills and continue as an approved school<br />

director.<br />
