• documented proof of entrance requirements in the student<br />

file, with a high school diploma, GED Certificate, or<br />

evidence of home schooling at the high school level, or a<br />

copy of the approved test with a passing score for abilityto-benefit<br />

students<br />

• copies of signed and dated “Receipt of Tour” documents<br />

• documentation in student’s files of drops, cancellations,<br />

terminations, and re-enrollments. Re-enrolling students<br />

must have a new enrollment agreement, enrollment<br />

documents, and a new entry on the MSRL.<br />

• accurate progress reports, attendance records, and ledgers<br />

• student ledgers, including a complete accounting of each<br />

payment and charge.<br />

• documentation of any leaves of absence<br />

• refund calculations based on the requirements of the Law<br />

for all dropped and terminated students<br />

• proof of consummation of all refunds<br />

Note: Consider using a checklist to ensure student files<br />

are complete and standardized.<br />
