The following external links are available to the customer during the<br />

deployment phase, by way of a satellite link to Brewster, Washington:<br />

• One countdown audio net link.<br />

• One live launch video link.<br />

• 128 Kbps LAN (configurable to 64 Kbps RS422 serial digital<br />

data link).<br />

• 64 Kbps RS422 serial digital data link.<br />

• Five dedicated telephone lines with access to long-distance<br />

circuits.<br />

• Internet connectivity.<br />

ACS security • Card readers control access to different areas of the ship.<br />

• The facilities have 24-hr electronic monitoring for smoke and fire<br />

detection.<br />

services<br />

• Negotiated number of copies of <strong>Sea</strong> <strong>Launch</strong>’s video camera footage<br />

and still photography.<br />

• Meal service.<br />

• Medical clinic (staffed by a medical doctor).<br />
