Bellevue Square
We went to Bellevue Square twice. What is the attraction of the shopping mall?
It has different kinds of shops including fireworks, sports, beauty, stationery,
snacks and so on. Somebody may say, “Bellevue Square is similar to other shopping
mall.” Inside Bellevue Square, there are some boutiques like Nordstroms, The Bon, J
Crew, Abercrombie and Fitch. These boutiques not only have different kind of
product, but also have the departments for male and female in different age.
At The Bon, there are lots of brand name clothes like GUESS, DKNY, ROXY,
TOMMY, LEVIS and etc. The original price, certainly, is very expensive. However,
there are some “ON SALE” periods when lots of products would have discounts or
special offers. So, we were crazy on these brand name clothes and this was the reason
we went Bellevue Square twice.
Remembering that we were at J Crew, there was a interesting thing happen.
When we were focusing on our brand name targets, we got lost. Luckily, Janet, Polam
and I could meet while Shirley could not. So finally, we decided to ask the staff of
this boutique for help. They used a public mic and called, “Shirley Ling, Shirley Ling.
Your friends are waiting for you in the front door.” When Shirley came, we laughed.
At that time, we discovered that the foreigner don’t know how to pronounce the
Chinese family name “Leung”.
University Way
University Way is very near to the University of Washington, so we always
went there to have window-shopping. To prove that we have been to the University of
