I met different kinds of people in this trip like the Taiwanese, the Japanese and
the Korean. They are all friendly and funny. We had lots of memories together.
Perhaps we won’t meet or contact anymore, the memories we have would not lost. I
do miss them.
June
It is really a precious trip for me because I can know more about US culture and
society. For examples, they think that male and female living on the same floor in
dormitory is a common thing. They don’t care but for us, we really mind living on the
same floor.
Besides, I knew some Native American students. They were nice and helpful.
One of the students was also living on the same floor as me but he was nice. He
always helped us and he was very willing to help. He told us a lot about USA and I
understood more about USA when talking with him.
I think making friends with people from different countries and with different
cultures is a happy and valuable experience. From making friends with them, I can
know more about other languages, countries, societies, cultures, values and customs.
This broadens my horizons.
In the whole trip, I think the best are those excursions and the teachers.
Especially for the excursions to MT. RAINIER and Snoqualmie Falls. These were
excellent. As the scenery was fantastic, we have never seen it. The mountain was
covered by snow and melting ice. We could touch the real snow and climb over it. It
was really wonderful as we have never seen real snow before. It was a memorial
excursion.
The teachers in University of Washington were very nice. They planed a lot of
activities for us and brought us to many attractions. They made the schedule very
clearly. We didn’t need to worry about that. They were easy to get along with. We
played with them happily.
