2. Object noun phrase complement<br />

The term complement refers to a noun phrase or adjective that follows an object and renames<br />

that object. That is, the object (Obj) and the object complement must refer to the same person<br />

or thing. The object complement can be a noun phrase complement (NP Comp) or an adjective<br />

complement (Adj Comp).<br />
