6.1.2 Inbreeding
Four inbreeding coefficients were calculated for all dogs: Wright's Inbreeding
Coefficients for 5, 10 and 20 generations, and Meuwissen's inbreeding coefficients
back to the beginning of the available data. The distribution of inbreeding coefficients
was analysed by class and year of birth. Results are given in table and figure 6.2
below. Figure 6.3 and 6.4 on the next page show the development of Wright's and
Meuwissen's inbreeding coefficients in the population over time.
